We are a full-service junk removal company.  We help you finally get rid of unwanted items (including old sofas, mattresses, refrigerators, electronics, renovation materials, construction debris, yard debris, etc.) by removing them from wherever the items are located in or around your property and taking them to be properly recycled or disposed of the same day.  We save you the time, money, and aggravation associated with any alternative.   We are charged to dispose of the items just as you would be.  Our pricing includes all labor, disposal fees, fuel, travel time, etc.  Up to 95% of the items we remove are donated or recycled.

What items will JUNKWAY take?
We are able to take away anything non-hazardous that two people can lift into a truck.

What we do take:
Furniture - Couches/sofas, sofa beds, mattresses, bookcases, tables, chairs, desks
Appliances - Fridges, freezers, washers & dryers
Electronics – CPUs, Monitors, Copy Machines, Printers
Garage, attic, office, and shed junk - Boxes, books, old tools, tires, cardboard, paper
Garden and Yard Waste - Branches, tree and bush clippings, soil and sod
Wood - Fencing, firewood, old timber
Construction materials - Debris, tiling, corrugated iron, etc.
Renovation refuse - Walls, windows, floorboards, drywall, plasterboard & concrete from broken pathways, etc.

What we don’t take:
Drivers and trucks are not licensed to carry hazardous materials.  We cannot accept liquids (paints/chemicals/solvents) of any kind, Asbestos, Oil tanks, or Oil drums.  However, we are pleased to provide you a list to assist you in finding environmentally friendly ways to dispose of most kinds of Hazardous Waste in your area.

Why can't you give me an exact price before you arrive?
JUNKWAY is unable to quote a firm price until we are able to see exactly what you want removed and determine how much space the items take in our truck.  Pricing is based on volume and nature of the material to be loaded.  We will book an appointment with you, and review our pricing structure over the phone based on the amount of junk you tell us you have. Then the truck team will verify the final, no-obligation pricing upon arrival.

How do you accept payment?
We accept VISA and MasterCard as well as personal and company checks or cash.  We offer invoicing for our preferred commercial clients and customers who have established a credit relationship with us.

Why do you book appointments in two-hour timeslots?
We book appointments in two-hour timeslots in order to accommodate any traffic delays and unforeseen events due to a previous job that was larger than expected.  Truck Teams will call you within an hour before your appointment time and give firm arrival times.

Can you pick up my junk even if I am not on site?
Customers should be on site when the JUNKWAY truck arrives.  We call within an hour before your appointment time to confirm arrival time.  If you are not on site when we arrive, the truck team will assess your load (if it is accessible), determine pricing, and call you for removal confirmation.  We will accept a credit card payment over the phone.

What tools do you carry?
A typical JUNKWAY truck carries two strong and efficient people, a dolly, brooms, a large dustpan, rake, and strong plastic bags.  We do not carry ladders or operate equipment.

What do you do with the junk?
It depends on what it is.  We recycle over 95% of the items we remove (metals, wood, plastic, tires, cardboard, etc.).  If items are considered salvageable, we like to take them to an appropriate charity drop-off location for donation.  We do our best to recycle as much as we can.  We then go to the transfer station or to the dump.
 
Can you move my stuff to another location?
We do not have the proper vehicles or licensing to transport items for moving or relocation purposes.  The truck is a "junk" truck and is also dirty inside. We can only take away any items you no longer need.

Why wouldn’t I just use a dumpster?
JUNKWAY is considerably more economical and efficient than using a dumpster.  Two people do the labor and clean up for you.  The fee is based on volume – saving you the cost of paying for an entire dumpster (regardless of whether it’s full or not).  Dumpsters sit on your property and you have to do all the loading and clean up yourself.

How big is your truck?
The steel box on the back of our truck is 11 feet long, 8 feet wide and 5 feet high.

Are you licensed to do this work?
Owners, trucks, and employees are fully licensed and insured.

When should I book an appointment?
Contact us as soon possible as time slots fill up quickly. Once you call we’ll let you know the availability in your area. 

Can you do jobs after normal business hours?
Contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your options.  Special arrangements can be made if required.

Can you provide us with a donation receipt for tax purposes?
Because many donation centers are selective about what they can accept, we cannot guarantee that your items will be donatable.  We recommend that you call your local charity first if you are interested in obtaining a tax deduction.
